Texas Women of Wisdom
The Women of Wisdom Project (WoW) in collaboration with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS), Child Protective Services and along with a host of community service centers in the Region 6 County areas of Texas focuses on utilizing evidence-based comprehensive family-centered prevention and intervention services.
The Texas Women of Wisdom Project
address the following Key Milestones:

Provide services and evidence-based interventions that are culturally responsive to assist in the recovery and maintaining recovery of the client parent. (Educate);
2. Promote public safety and permanency strategies for families to implement regarding social and prescription drugs at home or the community along with identifying signs of generational substance abuse. (Communicate);
3. Prepare family outreach activities that promote problem-solving and positive parent-child bonding. (Innovate)
